Summary of January 2008 Lodge Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 1950 hrs by Lodge President Brother Lee Donaldson
Pledge to the Flag was started by Brother Flynn
Prayer was not done due to Chaplain being excused.

OLD BUSINESS
Brother Borelli announced that the Challenge Coins are available
They are spelled properly and are $15.00 each.
Contact him by email or at the lodge meeting for orders.

Brother Donaldson announced that there is a Drug Discount Plan available. If you have any questions it will be posted on the website.

NEW BUSINESS
Renewals were sent out by Brother Jensen in December. Many thanks for his assistance.

A health update was given on Brother A.J. Ortiz he is clear of cancer and to keep him in our prayers.

Brother Borelli brought up the idea of purchasing two or three laptops for Lodge usage. These would be given to the Treasurer, Secretary and President for lodge business only. This was after a question in regard to the former lodge computer was brought up since it is no longer functioning.

Brother Sease presented to the lodge LAS TRAINING LLC a business in which he has that services law enforcement. He stated that there is a 10% discount for active FOP 009 members.

LEOSA (H.R.218) In regard to retired I.D.'s that we should push to have this for cumulative service not just years per agency.

GOOD OF THE ORDER

Brother Butler stated that we should have representive officers from each of the departments to inform members when their dues are not current.

Brother Donaldson added to this that March 1st is the cutoff and any member past due will be suspended after this
